On moving toward a world with no moral codes, rules or regulations

Our centre knows the truth

Our centre knows the truth

There is no authority that exists, or need exist externally from our Selves.

We need no moral code.

We need no rules.

We need no regulations.

All we need is be completely honest with ourselves (conscious!) and understand the implications of our actions.

All we need is to understand and know that we are a part of the Whole, and anything we do to another we do to ourselves because we are all One.

After all, if one were to dye one wave in the ocean bright red, one would be adding red dye to the whole of the ocean. No drop of water could escape the contamination of the redness,

From this stand point,  the barriers of self are dissolved as there is no separateness between you and I. To see You as separate from Me is an illusion.

When this concept is grasped from the inside out, we become our own effortless authority.

One understands that what is given to another is given to the Self.

What is done to another is done to the Self.

This is not an outside rule – do unto others as you would have done to yourself. We don’t follow this because it’s nice, or good, or the right thing to do, or because we were told to by our mother father priest government local policeman.

We follow this because we understand the consequences of our actions, and we wish to create a specific result. We wish to experience a specific reality and we know that what we do matters.

There is no “getting away with it”.

This is illusion.

Because one is ALWAYS affected by one’s actions, one ALWAYS reaps what one sows.

Would one choose to rob a store based on logical, rational thought when one knew that in doing so pain would be experienced by oneself?

Of course not!

And yet this is what we do.

We take actions that cause pain and suffering to Ourselves, over and over and over again.

What causes this?

Ignorance.

And

Illusion.

These are our enemies.

Not other people, other countries, other belief systems, other ways of living.

No, the only enemy we face is within us. It is an enemy that can not be vanquished, because to vanquish it is to vanquish ourselves – and this is what we are marching eagerly toward, the vanquishing of the human race. No, we must turn around and accept this enemy, embrace this enemy and make this enemy an ally.

This turning inward towards acceptance, towards unity, towards Self is a natural part of the process of Yoga.

One looks inward and in doing so discovers the connections that make us All part of the Whole.

So turn inward and see into that which makes you Who you are.

Realise that we need not be controlled by by Moral Codes.

Or Rules.

Or Regulations.

Forget these. They are not necessary for one who has come to Self-Realisation. One who has realised their true nature has connected with their inner Authority.

Such a person sees the ignorance which would have you believe that it is possible to get away with an action.

They understand the illusion which would have you believe that you are justified in an action which harms another. (Oh how marvelous is the mind which can construct all manners of reasons why it is ok to kill and hurt anther, and will defend these reasons to the death, creating the very circumstances that it perpetrates.)

For when all people realise their true Selves, we we live in a world that has no moral codes, no rules, no regulations.

There will be no arguments over the correct course of action.

There will be no turning to an outside authority.

All that will be required is one simple question:

Does this action benefit the Whole?

Yes – then take it.

No – then why would one seek to take an action that doesn’t benefit Oneself?

That would be insanity.

That would be suicide.

(That would be exactly where Man & Woman are headed today…)

Today, be mindful of your actions. Watch your internal dialogue.

As you choose this action or that action, KNOWING what it will result in not just for you but for EVERY person that it affects… does your mind whisper and seduce, creating all manner of reasons why it’s ok to do this, ok to do that?

Why does your Mind do that?

Why does it presume itself to be separate from everybody else?

Do you trust your mind?

Is is the ultimate authority within you to listen to?

Or is there another voice that lives within?

Another Voice you can listen to?
