    HI Neal

Interesting article. Over a long period of time I have wrestled with the Concept often described and practised as Yoga Nidra. It did not feel right in terms of Nidra and Yoga and the two terms together and what they where being practised as, seemed in-congruent.

I would have colourful discussions with other yoga teachers about this feeling of misinterpretation. I had seen the effects on students who had been taken through intention , visualisation etc. Some would say deep relaxation, What I frequently witnessed was dullness, clouded awareness, forgetfulness. My explorations eventually led me to the teachings of the Himalayan Tradition via the book and illuminating website of Swami Jnansheshvara. He strongly suggested that the state most people reached was not yoga nidra and was a very superficial level. I found it a wise and thought provoking and believe it has deepened my understanding of Yoga and Nidra, of Yoga Nidra and Tamo Nidra.

    Love & Clarity Hanuman Das

It is true that by practising meditation, one can reduce anxiety, stress, depression, pain, anger, and other related wellbeing issues.Meditation improves sleep quality because when we meditate, the body releases serotonin and melatonin- two hormones that actually enhance the quality of sleep.

My husband and i got very glad that Chris managed to conclude his inquiry from your ideas he grabbed through the
site. It is now and again perplexing to just possibly be giving freely concepts that many many others have been trying
to sell. We really understand we have the writer to thank for that.
All of the illustrations you made, the straightforward website menu,
the relationships you assist to create – it is most fabulous,
and it is leading our son and our family reason why the concept is excellent, which is certainly exceptionally essential.
Thank you for the whole lot!
