Alrighty then Lunchboxers… I’ve just spent a rainy Sunday afternoon up-schooling myself on the ins and outs of editing a .mov file and converting it to a M4a and MP3 file all so you can enjoy a live interview between Moi & Brandon Bays.
Brandon Bays who some of you may ask?
Brandon Bays. She who, upon discovering she had a basketball – yes, basketball! – sized tumour in her belly, asked the doctor if she could be allowed to ‘walk her talk’ and apply all her mind-body healing know-how to the tumour before going for the surgical, cut-it-out option.
Long story short. Said basketball-sized tumour was completely healed, and had totally disappeared within six weeks – no surgery, no drugs, no intervention of any medical kind.
Brandon’s method of dealing with the root emotional cause of her physical illness became The Journey. A book, and workshops, and trained practitioners, and a method that anybody who’s truly ready to do the hard work on themselves and get to the root cause of their dis-ease can use to deal with their shit.
Brandon’s recently been in Christchurch doing work with people who’ve suffered loss because of the earthquake. She’s got practitioners over in Australia working with people suffering loss as a result of flood. In fact, Brandon spends her time going to some 38 countries schooling other people up in Journeywork so they can free themselves from whatever is blocking their light from shining.
That’s some pretty damn fine work.
I felt extremely fortunate when I was invited to interview Brandon up in Auckland as she prepares to deliver a weekend workshop in February called The Journey Intensive (see details below).
Here’s a recording of the chat Brandon and I had… we chat for about 45 minutes – enjoy!

Brandon, who sold over 1 million copies of her first book The Journey, will hold a two day seminar in Auckland called The Journey Intensive on February 12-13th that teaches people the processes she has developed called ‘Journeywork’.
Journeywork is a method which addresses the overall health of a person on all levels – emotional, mental and physical. The work is not just about healing the ill, as the vast majority of people who are familiar with Bays’ work are physically healthy.
Most people attending seminars want to uncover and resolve issues getting in their way of being and living their absolute potential. The work helps to uncover the patterns and behaviours in our lives that limit us.
Brandon’s vision is that Journeywork brings radical transforming tools to people from all backgrounds and walks of life, to countries across the globe, so that all people can realize their deepest human potential. She travels and presents 42 weeks of the year so she can, as she describes;
be part of the change our world needs right now.
For more information about Brandon Bays, and to enroll for the seminar visit her website or phone 0508 JOURNEY.

Dear Kara-Leah
Hi my name is Paru and I run Shunyata Retreat in Diamond Harbour and would love you to
swap links as I have been trained in Byron Bay and India with Dharmavir Singh in Pune
who trained with Iyengars daughter and run yoga at my retreat.
I also brought Brandon Bays to NZ 10 years ago and returned home and have found the
journey with the enneagram and yoga and meditation really truly works for a great shift.
love to you
Anything else you can advertise (foc) would be great.
love and light

Hey Paru,
Thank you for your comment. I don’t publish links per se on The Yoga Lunchbox, so can’t do a link swap. If you want to advertise a specific event at your retreat centre, I would suggest checking out the Event Listings.
Blessings,
KL
