This is the first year of The YLB’s Best Guide to Australian Yoga Teacher Trainings and our intention is to make your research that much easier.

Living Peace teacher training offers practical and grounded teaching in how to share and instruct yogic techniques and philosophy.

We believe that the best teachers embody yoga in their day to day life, therefore, our course is designed to help you dive deep into all facets of yoga so that the teachings become a part of your life. The course framework and length allows you to ingest and digest the full yogic experience. The curriculum is drawn from the sacred traditions of Raja, Hatha, Bhakti, Karma, Jnana Yoga and Vedanta, merged with the contemporary teachings of anatomy and physiology.

  • Yogic Wisdom teacher training is held for four days (Thursday to Sunday) each month over four terms. Training will commence on Thursday, 9th February, 2017.

Yogic Wisdom Teacher Training students will learn to practise and teach the different techniques and tools of Yoga in a balanced, safe and nurturing way. Students will be confident in modifying and adapting the techniques to meet individual needs. The course will offer a sound understanding of the history and philosophy of Hatha Yoga and the different lineages with particular emphasis on the teachings of Krishnamacharya. The yogic Wisdom teacher training program has been written and approved at the worldwide standard of Yoga Alliance Australia, Yoga Alliance International and Yoga Australia.

Trainees will learn:

  • Skills of observation, instruction and communication.
  • How to demonstrate the techniques and give modifications and variations for individual needs and various demographics.
  • Class sequencing and practice planning.
  • Business skills.
  • Injury prevention.
  • Different approaches to Yoga teaching offered by other lineages.

Bliss Baby Yoga Prenatal, Postnatal and Mums N Bubs Yoga Teacher Training Weekend Intensives are fun, practical and packed with information for those wishing to specialise in the growing area of prenatal and postnatal yoga. Held in various locations around Australia, our specialised teacher training courses are designed to equip you with a greater knowledge, confidence and a comprehensive ‘tool kit’ of appropriate asanas (postures) and practices for safely teaching yoga for women during all stages of pregnancy and postpartum phases. You will learn about the psycho-physiological changes that occur for both mum and baby during these stages, as well as yoga postures that can be adapted for pregnancy and motherhood. You will emerge from these weekend intensives with the foundational knowledge to teach yoga for pregnant women and new mums safely and appropriately.

Tamara Yoga Teacher TrainingTamara Yoga • 350Hr ISHTA Australia Vinyasa Training

The Tamara Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 programme is offered in two forms so you can choose the timing that works best for you. Choose between:

  • The two-year weekday programme in Perth – Commencing February 2017. First year fees: $2,775. Second year fees: $2,640.
  • The intensive residential modules in Ubud – Commencing July 4th – 17th, 2017. From $3,950.

The 2 year Teacher Training in Claremont, Perth, includes teacher training lectures on fortnightly Wednesday afternoons and scheduled Saturday workshops during school terms. Our study breaks and holidays coincide with public school holidays so this programme suits parents of children and those who can arrange time during the week for teacher training classes.

Tamara Yoga intensive residential teacher trainings are held in Bali. Two intensives equals Level 1 teacher training. The intensive programme is suited to people who can take 13 days at a time to fully immerse in study. Our intensive trainings also especially suit those who live out of the Perth metro area. We’ve had students travel from Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Karratha and other country areas to attend our intensive yoga teacher training programmes.

Each of these courses are registered as 350 hour/ Level 1 courses with Yoga Australia. The comprehensive Tamara Yoga Teacher Training courses are of the highest standard. Upon successful completion, graduates will be certified Tamara Yoga teachers and are eligible for registration with Yoga Australia and internationally with Yoga Alliance.
