List your yoga event

Please note: Our advertising rates have changed. New Prices effective March 15:

  • $50 for events happening within two months of the date we publish your event listing.
  • $75 for events happening within four months of that date.
  • $100 for events happening over four months after that date.
  • For example, if we publish your listing on January 21 and your event is happening on April 31, it will cost $75 to list.
  • If your event is an on-going class that runs for a few weeks, the cost is $75. Listings for on-going classes will only stay up for four weeks once the class starts.
  • If you need any graphic design work done – for example converting a file to PDF or jpg - the cost is $75 per hour. (Generally file conversion only takes 20 minutes).

Advertise in Up-Coming Yoga Events

Submit your PDF (no more than two pages long) or text to create a page in our Up-Coming Events Listings, plus get a text link in the sidebar, RSS Footer and The Monthly Digest newsletter, and get Facebooked out.

Please double-check all your details to make sure everything is correct. Once your listing goes live, there is a $25 fee to make any amendments. Unless of course it's our mistake!

Your event is guaranteed to be published by the following Friday from the date you submitted it, although sometimes it may be up sooner. We prioritise events happening within the month, making sure they're listed first.

PS. All the required fields must be filled in, and the correct file formats submitted otherwise the form won't go through. So if you're having issues getting the form to submit, double-check you're submitting the right file formats in the right places and that you haven't left out a box.

  • Please write the headline for your event in the following format:

    Month Day: City, Event Name

    For example:

    February 26: Auckland, Positive Balance Yoga Summer Wellbeing Retreat

    Be as concise and short as you can. Make it punchy and interesting!

  • Please attach a high-quality PDF advertising your event. It must be no more than two pages long.

    This PDF will be resized to 590 pixels wide, and readibility of the smaller text can not be guaranteed. If you're able to resize the PDF yourself to check out text size, please do so.

    If you have no PDF of your event, and are submitting a text description instead, please attach an image instead.

    This image needs to be at least 200 pixels wide.

  • If you've submitted a PDF, you ALSO need to submit a 2 - 3 sentence description of your event. Be specific and enticing - this is the text that displays in a Google listing of your event, or underneath a Facebook post.

    PLEASE NOTE: This document must be in one of the following formats: txt, rtf, doc, docx. You can not submit a PDF here.

    If you don't have a PDF of your event, please submit at least three paragraphs of text about your event. This text will be placed in the YLB page, along with your image. Make sure you include all relevant details like Where, When, Who, How Much and How to Register.

  • Please enter 10 - 20 keywords that people might use to search in Google for your event. Be specific as possible, and make sure the keywords actually do apply to your event. Use commas between each word or phrase.

    Eg. auckland, positive balance, retreat, workshop, wellbeing, life coaching, inversions, pranayama, meditation, deep tissue massage
  • Please enter the website or Facebook address where people can find out more about, or register for, your event. This will also be the URL we link your PDF or image to.

    If you don't have a website to link to, we can use your email address instead.

  • And that's it! Hit submit below and you'll receive a confirmation email.
