Level 2 & 3 is an in-depth teacher training designed to deepen your understanding and experience of advanced yoga practice and qualify you for Yoga Alliance’s 500-hour certification, it will enable you to develop a firm foundation for personal practice, teaching, and further study. The course comprises two parts Level 2 and Level 3, which may be taken separately.
This course delves into the energetic aspects of yoga, we cover the anatomy of the subtle body, advanced asana, pranayama, meditation, yoga therapy, philosophy and teaching methods. The additional 300 hours in this Yoga Alliance program are structured to provide advanced experience and understanding in all aspects of yoga, and to facilitate teaching to all levels and conditions of students.
The Yoga Alliance accredited 300hr Yoga Teacher Training courses are suitable for yoga teachers with 200hr accredited training. All styles of yoga are covered to comply with YA accreditation.
Individual modules can be taken to suit your own calendar, or as stand-alone Professional Development courses to upskill, deepen and further your Yoga practice and teaching. The modules may be taken in any order and over a number of years.

This 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program consists of 100 hours of practice based Immersion followed by 100 focused hours on the art and science of effective, progressive, and transformational yoga teaching.
This training is open to dedicated students who wish to cultivate a greater depth of understanding in their practice and live their yoga more authentically. Part I is a deep dive into the mechanics of yoga asana, dynamic alignment principles, anatomy & physiology, yoga philosophy, breathwork, meditation, journaling, and uplifting conversation with supportive community.
Part II delves directly into learning and practicing foundational teaching skills, building a solid sustainable platform from which you can begin to teach skilfully and creatively!
Over the course of this intensive program, you will develop depth and discernment in your practice, deepen your experience of the study and service of yoga, and powerfully unearth your own unique, authentic voice.

The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is dedicated to helping you establish a solid foundation to becoming an inspiring and skilled teacher. It trains you in the ancient traditional approach to yoga practice and extends your journey into the modern evolutionary pathways of yoga, exploring the richness of the relationship between body, mind and movement. You will gain enough in-depth knowledge and understanding of each of the eight limbs of yoga to be able to connect with the origin of yoga and the teacher within.
The Yoga Teacher Trainings at Kawai Purapura consciously provide for one main, highly qualified Senior Yoga Trainer that guides you through the training, holds the space for the group and coordinates your education. The 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is dedicated to deepening the practice, refining teaching skills and continuity of the journey of self-mastery in order to help others. It trains you in chakra awareness and purification methods, the practical application of yoga and Ayurveda as therapeutic sciences and meditational techniques that support deep relaxation on all levels of being. You will gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of yoga to become an empowered yoga teacher, authentic yoga therapist and/or yoga nidra specialist.
Perquisite for this training is a Yoga Alliance accredited 200 Hour Teacher Training. The additional 300 hours are offered in three distinct modules of a 100 hours each. The modules can be taken as one continuous training to complete your 500 hours, as separate modules over a number of years to suit your own calendar and as individual modules to upskill and develop professionally.

Once every 12 months Vincent Bolletta will lead a mentoring training program that encompass both theory and practical aspects of yoga based on his experience as a teacher and Yoga Therapist.
Each participant will be encouraged to progress their practice by personally gearing the training to each student’s needs. Central to the training will be weekly individual guided tuition sessions, and personal practice programmes to be fulfilled outside of the main training. Each student will be required to keep a diary of their practice sessions.
This course is about an approach that leads us to inquire and explore as well as ask relevant questions that challenge the constructs and opinions that we operate from.
The training covers both Western and Eastern principles and methdologies. Topics will vary from biomechanics to therapeutic practices and class delivery.
The training will be run over 4 Saturdays spread over a 12 month period. It will also include observation and feedback of class delivery, individual meetings and regular contact during the year. Numbers have been limited to accommodate this and to enable more personalised support to develop your teaching practice.

- A long distance learning course with four residential weekend workshops, two in Auckland and two in Christchurch.

The Yoga Aotearoa – International Yoga Teachers Association Teaching Diploma Course provides the opportunity to explore the eight limbs of Yoga as explained in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. With the Sutras providing the framework for learning it allows students to explore styles and teaching schools that resonate with them and build up a holistic toolbox of yoga knowledge.
The course duration is 18 months, with a further three months to complete teaching hours, assessment, statutory declaration and first aid certificate. Most students find that a weekly commitment of 14 to 20 hours is required.
Students are encouraged to develop a sadhana weaving the Yamas and Niyamas into their learning both on and off the mat while exploring Asana and Pranayama through personal, observation and reflection. Students also work with the deeper aspects of Yoga, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi, being given opportunities for discussion, inquiry and contemplation. Each student is supported on their journey by a personal tutor who encourages and challenges them to deepen their learning. The tutors, are chosen for their knowledge and experience of teaching yoga and bring a wide range of depth and understanding, they are also supported by the course co-ordinator.

Bliss Baby Yoga Prenatal, Postnatal and Mums N Bubs Yoga Teacher Training Weekend Intensives are fun, practical and packed with information for those wishing to specialise in the growing area of prenatal and postnatal yoga. Yin Therapy’s 200hr comprehensive Yin Yoga & Anatomy Teacher Training course is currently offered throughout Europe and Australasia.
Yin Yoga is considered “the other half” – the vital complementary practice to most other styles of yoga.
The first two modules focus on giving the student the knowledge, skills and practical experience to confidently teach Yin Yoga with a thorough understanding for anatomical variation.
