The intensive nine day sadhana will involve chanting mantra, daily yoga classes, deep relaxation and meditation, some karma yoga (work with meditative awareness) and fire ceremonies.

Traditionally the sadhana for Navaratri involves extensive chanting from the Vedic scriptures, mainly in praise of the many forms of the Divine Mother, and also Lord Rama, who, with the help of the Divine Mother, was able to vanquish the demon king, symbolizing our own inner battle with negativity. It is a powerful time for personal transformation, a time for reflection and opportunity to connect with your inner self.

It is said that an hour of sadhana during this time is worth 100 hours of sadhana at any other time.
