Hi Kara-Leah and everybody ,
I want to thank You in front of all Your students ,yogis, readers and any other person for giving me a chance to bee the winner of the loving kindness meditation…I did stardet as I promised…Even in the days of may horible headaches i did it …I wasnt sitting i did it just in the corpse pose: still I feel it was right to do it that way…The first days of doing that it brouht up some sad memoriesand I was crying silentlywhile repeting those lovely words…Some how it helped me to figure out why I lost some loving kindnes in may life to my self ,to other persons, sometimes even to my children,,,,AS the days past I didn’t see this any more like meditation it turned to be my little pray any day no mater what part of a day or place. And still is and I think it’s going to stay for the rest of my life…It did bring me some peace in my self ,and there will still be issues with my past ,with my parents ,my husband and children : not just because of me who I am ;because of them who they are as well…And there will be days when I’ll lose my patience , but I will have a little pray to say to my self and tray to fix it
. And its not just the meditation that I’m talking of, its the Yoga that Im comming and doing with all my heart and passion with hope it will stay for the rest of my life. Thank You for beeing a such a wonderfull teacher and to bring us to the state of leting go of our minds to find no minds and to learn us to leave all problems at the door and entering a quiter space for nurturing our bodies. All respect and blessings upon You
Zanet
Hey Zanet,
Thank you – your kind words couldn’t have come at a better time. I am so glad this meditation, and the yoga, is working so well for you.
It is such a pleasure to have you show up for class, week after week. It’s your commitment, your persistence and your willingness to open to change that’s making all the difference for you.
You remind me of why I teach, of what I’m here for, and of the difference I can make – things I can still forget despite all my supposed learnings in the midst of my life.
Blessings to you,
KL
Can’t wait ’till Global Mala on Sunday!!!!!
:)
I know – me neither!
Thank you to everyone who helped to put together Global Mala on Sunday! It was really great!
My back feels good today after doing the sun salutations yesterday, but my arms and legs are a little tender. I was so proud to complete the 108 sun saluts (minus a couple since I had a toilet break) The meditation was quite hard for me as I am not used to sitting that long.
I hope everyone enjoyed it!!!:)
…and when will the video be put up?
peace
Hey Tash,
Thank you!
I really enjoyed it too – and even managed to get in the 108 sun salutations between MCing duties.
Not sure when we’ll have the video up – I imagine it will take a few weeks to get spliced together. Watch this space
