well kara-leah i'm awfully glad you twittered us a heads-up to this "ancient" post ;-)

it (again) shows your depth, your authenticity, and, well, good thinking

still a timely subject and contemplation, i think

i esp liked the bus trip opportunity, "There are no distractions, I can’t go anywhere" -

good job, for a young lady not even 35 yet ;-)

Hey mb,

There's no doubt for most of us that life is super busy... which is why it's so lovely to be able to take yoga off the mat. Glad to have you stop by!

Blessings,
KL

Hey Scout,

I love the colours in your favourite place to practice yoga - I can see it in my mind's eye. And I bet you doing yoga gives all the walkers and joggers their own jolt of energy :)

Hey Liana,

I am so jealous! I have yet to see dolphins or whales in Wellington's many bays. It must have been chilly though yesterday. Great place to break the yoga out.

Wonderful to hear about other people taking their yoga out into the world - who knows who you might inspire?

Blessings,
KL

Your article was very timely for me - because I spontaneously decided to do my yoga on the beach today with a friend after we had had a (bracing!) swim. It was very Shiva Rea. It was so fantastic to inhale and exhale in time with the surf, and to see the sun between my toes as I did a shoulder stand.

The highlight for us both, however, was spotting a pod of dolphins off Breaker Bay, leaping with joy into the air. They inspired me to break out into the dolphin pose in imitation, and then sit and do some sitting poses as I watched them play in the water. Yay for Wellington on a good day!

I love your creativity in finding places to practice! Very inspiring. My favorite is the park by my apartment. There's a spot with a bright red running track, fresh green turf, and a sunny blue sky (or violet twilight) that just puts me right into the zone. All the people walking and jogging and hanging out seem to give me extra energy. Unfortunately it's dependent on good weather!
