Prana Flow Yoga launches classes where students decide how much to pay
February 6, 2009 By 4 Comments

Ai! This is wonderful! I’m so excited for you, KL!
I have been offering readings, art, and guided meditations on my site in exchange for payment of any amount for eight or nine months now, and it’s definitely been a success. I’ve continued to see a gradual increase in income, and I’ve definitely been able to deliver my offerings to a lot more people. It’s been great!
One thing I have found is that there is no way to predict what people will pay. About half of the people take my offerings for free; others give a reasonable amount; and a small minority give a great deal. But it all balances wonderfully. I am curious to see whether you’ll get a similar distribution, since your offerings are so different.
I desperately wish I could fly down there and take your courses!!
Love and luck to you both!
Hi,
I believe this experiment will go along way for both of you and your commitment to sharing yoga with as many people as you can. Your post today put a giant smile on my heart.
Thanks,
Diane
Awesome KL and Taisuke!! This is very inspiring…I’m sure it is the way of the future. And I know the classes will be an absolute blast for everybody attending with both of you teaching. You have to post and tell us how it goes!!
Hope I can make it to one next time I’m in Wellington. X
Hey Jeff,
I’d been following the discussions over at Druid Journal about your readings, art and meditations and was definitely in part inspired by what you were doing. It is going to be very interesting to see how it all works out!
Hey Diane,
Lovely to hear from you – if we can put smiles on people’s hearts through this site, and through classes, then you could almost say, mission accomplished!
Hey Trudi,
We’ll definitely be posting about the classes, and it would be great to see you there!
Maybe this is the way of the future
Blessings to you all,
Kara-Leah
