    Hi Kara-Leah,

    Great Article!

Love the Scorpion pose its a hard one to master!
When I was in my teacher training program and I started yoga due to injury I had in my arm and neck. I was amazed by the ladies in my class some were in practice for ten years and they were in 65 and hot ten bodies…. its amazing how many people were there for injuries and watch their progress… it really is amazing and healing the practice of yoga. It really is anti-aging as is so many others like dance and more…

    Namaste,
    Diane

    Hey Diane,

The proof certainly is in the pudding – just going to class and working with people who have been practicing and teaching for a decade or more shows you what yoga can do for keeping one young!

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Lovely article! I love your perspective on this site about the internal gifts of yoga. Right…we may get some of the trappings of age, the wrinkles, the dull hair, but the feeling that comes along with a regular practice…well gosh, sometimes I have to stop myself from skipping down the street lest I scare people and I often feel more energetic than I did in my teens. Yoga is amazing.

    Hey Lola,

I’m a big fan of skipping… it feels amazing! Here’s to skipping yogis on Main Street.

    Thanks for stopping by!
